MEET JASON

Entering his 11th season of racing, Jason Rauen, who has competed regularly in the past at tracks across Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota is hitting the road again in 2009 to compete in the same area with event expansion into series such as the WDRL, Lucas Oil, and IMCA Deery Series.

The 28 year-old Late Model pilot from Farley, Iowa is versatile in his interests. Beyond racing, Jason has worked for the family business, Rauen Precision Machining, as Shop Foreman for the past 12 years.

Jason’s dedication and work ethic has translated from his day job right into his racing operation. Jason began his racing career in the street stock class. In a few short years he’s been able to upgrade his equipment, shop, and most of all his driving ability. He credits much of his success to the people in which he’s been able to work with on and off the track... a who’s who list of drivers and manufacturers such as Ronnie Stuckey, Jay Dickens, and many more.

As you can see, Jason is no stranger to a high level of competition. Jason’s drive, no pun intended, is the force that pushes him to race his number 98 late model with the best of the best in the sport.

Beyond the thrill of pushing the limits of speed, Jason enjoys the chance to promote his sponsors’ products and services to all that enjoy the sport. Take a winning personality, a joy of racing, an unmatched enthusiasm for competition...and you have Jason Rauen!
